Melissa Lonjawon Sereno war ein weiteres Alter Ego von Shania. Ihre Rechtschreibfehler übertrugen sich auf die betrügerischen Bettelbriefe, die sie an Otto schrieb. Eigentlich wirkte die ganze Familie an dem Betrugsstück mit.
Plötzlich war die Nichte Shania tot, ein Unfall, dargestellt mit Bildern aus dem philippinischen Fernsehen von 2017. Ein Unfall, irgendwo auf einer Straße.
Die Melissa, die Otto, unseren Protagonisten, besuchen wollte, war in vier Stunden von Malta nach Manila gekommen und jammerte um Geld. Das konnte sie am Besten. Eine der an der Scharade beteiligten Komplizinnen zu identifizieren, dauerte sehr lange.
Shania Sereno Quiniquito hatte ihren Abschluss schon lange vorher gemacht, als Otto sie für fast 10.000 Euro kaufen musste. Ein Jahr nach ihrer Beerdigung, für die Otto 3.000 Euro bezahlen musste, erfreute sich Shania bester Gesundheit, wie man auf dem Foto sehen kann.
